Brolene is a mild antibacterial which can be used for the treatment of mild short-term conjunctivitis. Contents are sterile provided that the bottle is intact and the sealing ring is unbroken. Avoid contamination of drops during use.

Instil 1 to 2 drops in the affected eye four times daily. Seek medical advice if infection does not improve within 24-48 hours or clear completely in 7 days.

Propamidine isethionate 1mg/mL. Preservative: benzalkonium chloride 0.05 mg/mL

For external use only.
Do not use when wearing soft or gas permeable contact lenses.
Contents are sterile and should be used within 4 weeks of opening.

Don’t wear contacts until symptoms resolve and til 48 hours after the completion of Tx
Remove discharge with luke warm water or eyelid wipes
Throw away used eye make up to avoid reinifection
Very infectious: good hygiene , avoid sharing pillows

Eye pain
Post operation
Sensitivity to light
Contact lens wearer
Unilarteral eye pain with headache
