Dulcolax SP Drops is a sugar-free, easy-to-use liquid laxative containing sodium picosulfate (7.5 mg/mL). Designed for predictable relief of occasional constipation within 6–12 hours, it comes with an integrated dropper—ideal for nocturnal administration and morning effects.

• Adults & children ≥10 years: 10 drops (approx. 5 mg) at night; increase up to 20 drops if needed.

• Children 4–10 years: 5 drops (2.5 mg) at night; increase up to 10 drops if required.

• Under 4 years: Use only under medical supervision.
  Typically produces a bowel movement within 6–12 hours, especially when taken before bedtime.

• Active: Sodium picosulfate 7.5 mg

• Inactive: Sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, citric acid monohydrate, 70% sorbitol solution, purified water

• Not suitable if you have bowel obstruction, appendicitis, severe abdominal pain, inflammatory bowel disease, or dehydration.

• Avoid with known allergy to sodium picosulfate or sorbitol.

• Drink plenty of fluids and consider dietary fibre supplementation.

• Use short-term only—same nightly use may lead to dependence or electrolyte imbalance (e.g., low potassium).

• Side effects may include abdominal cramps, diarrhoea, nausea, dizziness, or allergic reactions. Seek medical attention if severe.
