Lomide Eye Drops help prevent red, itchy, allergy eyes.
Lomide (a trademark of Novartis) Eye Drops is formulated for regular sufferers of red, itchy, allergy eyes. Using Lomide (a trademark of Novartis) Eye Drops shortly before expected allergy seasons assists in reducing the symptoms associated with eye allergies.
Lomide Eye Drops are used to treat seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, an allergic condition of the eye that is commonly caused by pollens or other agents that produce an allergic response in the eye. Seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, as suggested by its name, normally occurs in line with seasonal increases in pollens.
Lomide Eye Drops may also be used to treat a severe allergic condition of the eye that is associated with redness, itching, pain and
swelling in or around the eye(s) and/or eyelid(s).
Dosage: Dosing with Lomide Eye Drops should ideally commence before the expected onset of the allergy season(s).
Adults and children over 4 years: 1 drop in the eye(s) 4 times daily at regular intervals

• lodoxamide
Do not use while wearing soft contact lenses. Soft contact lenses can be inserted 15 minutes after using eye drop.
Avoid allergy triggers by implementing the following suggestions:
- Use air conditioning. Keep windows closed during high pollen seasons.
- glasses or sunglasses. This will help to protect your eyes from pollen.
- Limit dust accumulation. Use “mite-proof” bedding covers and wash your bedding frequently, using hot water (at least 130 degrees Fahrenheit). Clean shelves with a wet rag and floors with a mop, instead of dry-dusting or sweeping.
- Control mold. Use a dehumidifier to control mold growth. Treat visible mold with detergent and a five percent bleach solution.
- Wash your hands. This will help to eliminate any allergens you may have come in contact with, such as when touching a pet or cutting the grass.
- Avoid rubbing your eyes. This can further irritate your eyes.
- Choose your makeup carefully. Certain makeup products can irritate your eyes and exacerbate eye allergy symptoms. Look for makeup products that contain natural ingredients and are designed for sensitive eyes and skin.
