Provides symptomatic relief from congested chests and coughs due to the common cold. Robitussin liquid coats and soothes the throat. Contains the expectorant Guaifenesin, which increases the flow of natural secretions along the lower respiratory tract. Contains Bromhexine hydrochloride to liquefy and breakdown secretions. This combination helps break up a cough – helps loosen congestion so you can cough it up and get it off your chest.

Adults and Children 12 year and over: 10-20ml every 6-8 hours orally when necessary

Children 6-12 Years: 5-10ml every 6-8 hours orally when necessary

Maximum Doses: no more than 6 doses in 24 hours.

Each 10mL of oral liquid contains: Guaiphenesin 200mg

Also contains Ethanol (alcohol) 40mg/mL (4.8%v/v); Sodium benzoate and Saccharin sodium.

This product contains Sorbitol (65g/120mL) which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.

Cough mucus into tissue and dispose of this immediately
Drink plenty of fluids such as water, diluted non-sweetened fruit juice and clear, warm soups. Liquids help thin the mucus and lungs and make it easier to cough up.
Humidify the air if it is dry. If a humidifier is not available, steam from a hot shower will also help break down mucus.
