For the symptomatic relief of rhinorrhoea (runny nose) associated with the common cold. It is also indicated for the treatment of rhinorrhoea (runny nose) associated with allergic, perennial and vasomotor rhinitis.
For Regular Use:
Adults: Take 2 sprays into each nostril 2 to 3 times daily. 3 to 4 sprays into each nostril may be required by some patients initially to obtain maximum effect.
Children over 12 years: 2 sprays into each nostril twice a day.
For Symptomatic Relief of Rhinorrhoea Associated with the Common Cold :
Adults: Initially 2 sprays into each nostril 3 to 4 times a day, followed by 2 additional sprays five minutes after the first sprays.
Univent Aqueous Nasal Spray is a clear, colourless, isotonic, pH-adjusted solution of 0.03% w/v Ipratropium bromide for nasal administration.
Univent Aqueous Nasal Spray has risks and benefits. Do not use Univent Aqueous Nasal Spray if you are allergic to ipratropium bromide or to any of the other ingredients in this medication. If you have any concerns about taking Univent Aqueous Nasal Spray, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Always use Univent Aqueous Nasal Spray exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you start taking any other medicine while you are using Univent Aqueous Nasal Spray, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
